The robotics club was founded on summer 2015 with the goal of improving robotics in UNO. I am one of the founders for the club and initially held the position of the Vice-President. The club recruited about 20 new members and 5 robots were sent for the IEEE Region 5 robotics competition, 2016. None of the robots came in top 5 but this was just the beginning. Next year on 2017 the club won its first robotics competition and on 2018, 4 of the top 5 teams were from UNO and top 3 were from UNO. Attached are the news from University news paper driftwood.
